Miami Beach US Coast Guard assists in release of rehabilitated tropical seabird
A U.S. Coast Guard crew based in Miami Beach rescued a brown booby, a large tropical seabird known for its incredible diving skills. Officials said the bird was seen close to shore, which is rare for the species. After two weeks of rehabilitation at a local wildlife rescue organization, it was released back to sea.
